ROVs – Remotely Operated Vehicles
ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles) are diving robot controlled via a fixed cable connection from a boat or from the shore. Maintenance, inspection and other work in the offshore area can be performed by ROVs. This makes it possible to dive much deeper and be more active under water.
The operator controls the device optically. A built-in ROV live camera provides the image to a monitor. An ROV is always used when the work is too risky for a diver under water or if the work takes too much time.
